In last 7 years, SCADL has implemented projects to improve the efficiency of municipal services and facilitate ease of living for citizens. Our efforts have been recognized at various platforms and we have received award from hon’ble Prime Minister.
Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) Building
The Integrated Command and Control Center located in Paldi Area, has proved itself to be the nerve-center of the city, with 24*7 live monitoring of more than 7000 Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras spread across the city. Since its inception, ICCC has proved useful in implementing traffic discipline among the citizens and to carry out route-surveillances during major events like Rath-yatra and other VIP movements across the city in co-ordination with the city police and other government departments. Earlier was water flooding in major areas, potholes on road, barrier on road especially in heavy rains, blockage of drainage, collapsed of trees during rain etc. By having flood monitoring as an additional use case of ICCC, it has quick detection of water flood having area-wise live monitoring in monsoon especially at under bridge and junctions in city and it helps in decision making by authority.
60 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
With an aim to enhance the public health by way of collection, treatment and discharge of waste-water, Smart City Ahmedabad has implemented the project of 60 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Jalvihar area, Vadaj by way of convergence, in January, 2019.
Gotila Garden At Sindhu Bhavan Road
Situated in Sindhubhavan area, Gotila garden has flourished as one of the most loved public park on the western part of the city. Covered with beautiful decorative and lush-green landscape and well-organized space for citizens of all age groups with dedicated sitting areas, play areas and jogging track. beautification of the public open spaces by introducing smart lighting, urban street furniture and landscapinhas been done.

Retrofitting of utilities In TOZ Area
Retrofitting work for utilities of WDS and its Network of Water Supply in Vadaj Area Of Ahmedabadcity. This facility will benefit to Lakhs of people residing near by area due to good Water Infrastuture. Drinking water issue resolved with this new facility. To help keep water safe as it travels to homes, water treatment plants will make sure the water has low levels of the chemical disinfectant when it leaves the treatment plant.

Providing and laying Sewarage Trunk main by Micro Tunnelling Method on Ashram Road From Vadaj to Paldi on Ashram Road From Vadaj,(Ahmedabad).
- Main sewerage trunk line of Dia. 1400, 1800, 2000 mm with Mictrotunneling on busy Ashram road from Vadaj to Paldi.
- First project of sewerage line with Microtunneling in Ahmedabad.
- Trenchless technology as work can be safely executed on busy traffic road without major open excavation.
- Sewage from SWDs are diverted to this new line.
- New Sewage trunk line is laid on busy, densely traffic road without any hindrances.
P / L 2200 mm dia. drainage line from Jashodanagar cross road to Cozi Hotel by trenchless method.
In this method only excavation has required at shaft location to reduce the cost of road restoration. The Alignment Between the two shaft must be in straight line
- No hindrance on road for traffic movement. Also this work was carried out in heavy traffic movement area without any hindrance in traffic movement.
- There is no loss or damages of under & below ground utilities and less shifting of utility.
- Railway Track/ Water bodies like canal, line / road can be easily crossed without any damages.
- High pressure sealant and epoxy coating in inter joint of pipe after completion of micro tunnel to prevent the leakages.
- This Operation has done in high safety and low risk.
- Pipe for micro tunneling was manufactured by vertical vibrated casting method and also fix the PE liner (T-rib) inside surface of pipe to protect from corrosion.
- Chambers has made at different location in alignment for future cleaning and desilting work.
